Elevators
There are two major elevator types used in commercial and residential buildings: hydraulic type and traction type. Hydraulic elevators are powered by electric motors that pump hydraulic fluid to raise a cylindrical piston attched to a cabin. The traction elevators are powered by electric motors that drive traction cables and counterweight systems.
There is a perpetual argument going on between proponents of these two types. We, however, prefer and recommend the hydraulic elevators for their reliability, ease of maintenance, cost efficiency, quiet operation and smooth ride.

Stair Lifts
A stair lift (stairlift), also know as a stair climber or a stairglide, is an electromechanical device for moving people up and down stairs. A stair lift has a rail mounted to the treads of the stairs. A chair or lifting platform is attached to the rail and a person on the chair or platform can move up and down along the rail. A stairlift is a great and surprisingly affordable solution for anyone experiencing difficulty going up and down the stairs.
We install state-of-the-art stair lifts manufactured by Acorn Stairlifts, Harmar and Savaria.
The Acorn stair lifts (shown on the left) have been installed in hundreds of thousands of homes worldwide. They are perfectly safe, absolutely reliable and easy to use.
They have wireless remote control, and fold up when not in use. The Acorn stairlifts are battery powered, with no messy trailing cables. They have safety sensors, smooth start and stop, and safety belts. In a power outage the stair lift will continue working, so you will still be able to get up and down stairs.
The Harmar Summit Pinnacle™ stair lifts (shown on the right) are the most compact stairlifts on the market and allow for the widest clearance of the staircase. They are mounted to the stairs, fold to within 11 inches of the wall and their track is only 6.5 inches wide.
The advantages of the Pinnacle™ stairlifts include a wide, comfortable, swiveling seat, safety sensors preventing the lift from running if something is blocking the stairs and wireless remote controls.

Wheelchair Lifts
A wheelchair lift, also known as a platform lift, is an electromechanical device designed to move a wheelchair and its occupant up and down in order to overcome steps or other vertical barriers.
We install the finest wheelchair lifts manufactured by Savaria and Harmar.
Savaria makes a wide variety of wheelchair lifts to choose from.
ES-125 Inclined Platform Lift from Savaria (shown on the left) is easily installed on most straight staircases indoors or outdoors.
It is suitable for use in homes or in public spaces. This unit is a great space-saving and affordable option when you require access to a second level, but an elevator or vertical lift is not a practical option. It travels along a guide rail over the stairs to carry a wheelchair passenger up or down a straight run of stairs.

RPL Residential Vertical Platform Lift by Harmar (shown on the right) is a safe, smooth and economical solution to the barriers porches and other elevation changes can create in and around a home.
Designed from the ground up to be as cost-efficient as possible. Available in heights from 4 to 6 feet, it is priced to be competitive with shorter units, but built to accommodate most residential applications with ease.
As with all Harmar lifts, the RPL is simple to install, easy to operate and virtually maintenance-free for use indoors and out.
Material Lifts
Material Lifts, also known as Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRS), Mezzanine Lifts, Freight Lifts, Platform Lifts, or Cargo Lifts move materials in factories, warehouses, industrial plants, institutions or anywhere that products or supplies need to move from one level to another. Material lifts are designed to carry materials only, not people.
For industrial and commercial applications, we install the most reliable material lifts manufactured by Harmar, Matot and Pflow Industries.
Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors by Pflow Industries (shown on the left) provide fast, efficient, convenient and safe access to/from mezzanines, balconies, basements, and between levels in multiple story buildings. They can be installed for through-floor, interior or exterior applications.
The principal components of Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors include guide columns, carriage and a mechanical or hydraulic actuating mechanism.
Pflow vertical lifts can move materials of all shapes and sizes that weigh from 1 lb to over 200,000 lbs with carriages from 30 x 30 inches to 60 x 60 feet.
Dumbwaiters
A Dumbwaiter is a small elevator used to transport food or other goods from one floor of a building to another.
We install the best dumbwaiters on the market manufactured by Harmar and Matot.
